The Motor City is once again alive and ready to entertain locals. Although the city has experienced ups and downs, it can still hold up to its reputation of being a popular nightlife destination. Locals may be familiar with a old club called Cliff Bell’s. They will be surprised to know that is has been renovated and is ready to entertain guest.

History of Cliff Bell’s

Cliff Bell’s is a jazz club that began in a Detroit neighborhood in 1935. The owner Cliff Bell was an ambitious entrepreneur that contributed to the club’s success until he retired in 1958. The club continued to run and entertain guest until 1985.

Renovation of Cliff Bell’s

After 20 years of vacancy, Paul Howard, Scott Lowell, and Carolyn Howard decided to make renovations, which brought the club back to life. The club currently features drinks, tasty cuisines, art-deco interior and live jazz.

The former owner Cliff Bell has entertained guest with his trendy club. Although he has retired, his legacy still lives on threw the recently renovated club that brings life to the neighborhood. Residents that remember the club when it was in its prime should come down and experience the new Cliff Bell’s.
